Style is all about details. A tie bar is always a nice touch to an outfit..unless you wear it wrong, then it can become your downfall. You never want it longer than your tie & you ever want to wear one that isn't at least half the width. The clip in the middle is a perfect example of the length. Keep it like that and you will keep the fashion police away!

Tired of your shirt not staying tucked? This is a classic trick that has been around for years. The key is to tuck your under shirt in your underwear first. But if you are not wearing an undershirt I recommend not tucking your shirt in your underwear because then it will show. (That's just my opinion, others would disagree)

I will never settle for anything other than a slim fitted shirt. The slim fit shirt gives a cleaner and more dapper look while the modern fit gives off a "baggier" impression.

While a traditional shirt has a straight body from armhole to hem, a slim-fit shirt is tapered so that the waist is narrower than the shoulders and chest.  Sometimes, this fit is called an "athletic cut."  Men who have a youthful or athletic build generally find the slim-fit shirts more comfortable than the standard or classic cut.  There is less fabric bulk to be tucked into the trousers, making the slim-fit dress shirt a good choice for wearing with close-fitting dress pants or tight jeans.

"The sockless look" Photo credit to: IG: @nicolaspetre

When going for the no sock look, you want to wear pants that are more cropped than usual. You dont want your pant to hover over the shoe and it defeats the purpose of the look. The point of the look is to bring an edge by showing a little ankle.

I would say that just about any shoe looks good sockless. Although, the dressier the shoe the more I would avoid the no sock look. Also, the more of a boot the shoe is, the more I would stay away from no socks. Simply because of the fabric rubbing up against your skin and can become very uncomfortable.

Perfect shoes to rock with no socks are, loafers and monk strap shoes. They both work really well when wearing the no sock look. Oxford may be too dressy to pull off at times, but if you feel that you can work it, then go for it!

Shining your shoes is as important as ironing your shirt! I recommend buying the brand "Kiwi" for best results, that is what I use. (Get the kit that comes with rag, polish & brush). Keep in mind that the process can sometimes be messy, especially if it is your first time. The steps are simple as the picture above, follow the steps and turn those dull dress shoes into shinning eye catchers!
